We have obtained a summarized version of different clinical studies that were carried out on D-aspartic acid. Here are the findings…

Testosterone Enhancement: According to three studies, there appeared to be dramatic increases in testosterone in the majority of subjects to the tune of 30-60%.

Lean Muscle Increase:  As a result of one study, no significant changes occurred in the muscle mass in healthy trained men.

Fat Loss: As a result of one study, fat mass did not appear to be altered with D-aspartic acid supplementation coupled with exercise.

Power Enhancement: As a result of one study, healthy trained men did not experience any increases in power output when supplemented with D-aspartic acid, coupled with the resistance training.

Weight: As a result of one study, there were no significant changes in body weight when healthy males were supplemented with D-aspartic acid, coupled with resistance training.

Fertility:  As a result from two studies, limited evidence exists that D-aspartic acid can be the cause of increased activity in men, where one study noted that a group increased from no conceptions to 26.6% who were subsequently able to conceive.

Sperm Quality: As a result of one study, it appeared that D-aspartic acid was shown to be effective in increasing sperm quality.  

Sperm Count: As a result of one study, notable improvements in sperm count in infertile men varied between 50-100%.

Seminal Motility:  As a result of one study, seminal motility ceased between 50-100% in infertile men.

Luteinizing Hormone: As a result of one study, increases in LH concentrations were noted to be between 30-60% in infertile men. This directly correlated with the testosterone increases observed in this study.

As you can probably see for from these clinical results, D-aspartic acid is an extremely effective testosterone booster in itself, although the effects may be only temporary.

An important thing to note is, despite the temporary nature of the testosterone boost, the long-term benefits such as increased muscle mass, increased bone density as well as a much improved sexual and fertility function will still be enjoyed long after any cessation of D-aspartic acid supplementation.
